Material Selection

The process of material selection is often circumvented and thus results in suboptimal deployment of plastics (and even other materials such as metals and ceramics.) Very few engineers are properly trained and even fewer have substantial experience in this important area. Practicing Enclosure Engineers must have a working knowledge of both thermoplastics and thermosets. The selection process incorporates brand new material recommendations and drop-in replacements.
